Enrolments
Enrolments (Priority Enrolment Area)
Gilmore Primary School follows the Department of Education and Training Policies and guidelines. Our Priority Enrolment Area is the suburbs of Gilmore and part of Chisholm.

Students enrolling in Kindergarten must have reached the age of five years by the 30th April in the year of enrolment.
When transferring from interstate, overseas or a local school, it is helpful if a written report is available at the time of enrolment.
Evidence of birth, immunisation details and proof of residence is asked for prior to enrolment.
Please note that it is the Dept policy to enrol children with the name on their Birth Certificate unless some other official change of name paperwork is provided see Attendance at Govt Schools policy
Gilmore Primary is a preschool to Year 6 school and enrolments for all ages are processed at the school.
The school may enrol students from out of area, with priority being given to ACT residents over non-ACT residents, provided the capacity as determined by the Department is not exceeded.
Preschool operates on either a two day or three half days model for the year preceding enrolments in kindergarten.
Early entry to school must be negotiated with the Director of Schools Southern Region (02 6205 5428).
