In partnership with the home and the community, Gilmore Primary School strives to provide a caring, supportive learning environment to enable every child to reach their potential.

School Philosophy:

Gilmore Primary School aims to provide for each student, a happy, secure learning environment. The school aims to develop in each student, a confident concept of self with tolerance and concern for others. The school aims to provide for each child, a complete primary education that encompasses English, Mathematics, Science, Society & the Environment, Health, Technology, LOTE (Language Other Than English) and the Arts. The school recognises that parents are the essential educators and hopes that with parental support it can assist in the acquisition of skills, attitudes and values that the community and society deem to be important. The school aims to develop in young people, skills, knowledge and positive attitudes in the eight key learning areas so that they can approach their further education with confidence and expectations of success.
